We’ve got some big plans for 2012, including a lifestyle newsletter that celebrates the culture orbiting the web community, a limited edition book containing interviews with 20 of the web and tech industries’ leading figures, and a number of digital tools that harness the power of WordPress. For a taste of our immediate plans, scroll on down.

We all love the web, but what about all the great stuff in the real world? A robust city guide for the next big conference... the best sketch pad for wireframing designs... the most inspiring co-working spaces around the globe... Digest has it all. And more.
Published once a week and delivered via the age-old medium of email, each edition of Digest is a unique lifestyle newsletter that celebrates the culture orbiting the web community.
Every issue is archived online seven days after the email itself is sent out, which means the only way to get it on time is to subscribe by becoming a member. Digest membership is entirely free and always will be.

To be published in May, Insites: The Book is a strictly limited edition 200+ page book based on the format of the highly successful Insites: The Tour and inspired by the high production values of 8 Faces.
Insites: The Book features interviews with 20 of the web and tech industries’ leading figures, delving into their stories, big wins, and lessons learned, along with the kind of tales you never hear on a conference stage. No code snippets, no design tips; just a fascinating behind-the-scenes look into the names and brands forwarding our industry.

Starkers is a bare-bones WordPress theme created to act as a starting point for the theme designer.
Up until now, it has merely been a stripped-back version of the default theme that ships with WordPress, and as a result has never been quite as ‘naked’ as it could be. Now we’re bringing it under the Viewport Industries brand and rebuilding it from the ground up.
This is a major leap in Starkers’ evolution and we think it will change the way you build WordPress themes.
DOWNLOAD: While you are waiting you can still grab a copy of the current version of Starkers, now proudly hosted on GitHub
Development is almost complete and we’re getting ready to show off this groundbreaking new version. To be told about its release, please sign up to our mailing list:

The first leg of Insites: The Tour took place in Brighton, followed by London the next night and Manchester the next, before finishing in Bristol on night number four. It happened on 18th – 21st July 2011 and it was great. Thank you so much to those who made it possible and to every one of you who came along.
Want to know what you missed? Check out our interview in .Net and read reviews by Bluegg, Laura, Liam, George and MrQwest. And last but not least you can check out photos from all four events in our Flickr Pool.
Insites: The Tour will return later this year. To be the first to find out about it, please sign up to our newsletter:
